Started in 2018 as a resource for creatives and small businesses to hire an operational assistant, Handled has had the opportunity to enhance bandwidth for creatives and blossoming small business owners and allow for them to focus on the whole reason why we are all here: their art and their passion
The concept of Handled when founded was to provide support to small businesses, particularly creatives, with all operational needs. When someone is beginning their journey into building their business, every minute of your time and inch of brain space counts. Not having the time to work on projects because you have to focus on so many menial things can be draining and also takes away from what your business may be for. We have a lot of friends particularly in the creative space that seemed like they weren't able to focus on their real passions because they had to manage all sorts of operations that just didn't appeal to them. So we saw an opportunity to fill that gap and provide the support to those whom we service so that they could get back to the most important part of their business: their craft.
We also wanted to make sure we provided services that fit everyone's budget. Not everyone is blessed with enough starting capital to hire an experienced team to assist them but all businesses need a trusted team of people if growth is a goal. handled wanted to assist with that and change the dynamic of start-ups and how creatives and small businesses manage themselves.
With over 19 years of professional experience in operations from customer service, film & tv, music, food service, and overall support, Handled has the capacity to assist with your operational needs to ensure that businesses and creatives have an opportunity to even the playing field, disrupt the status quo and reach their ultimate goals of success.
